Quik Spray is a proudly Australian-owned manufacturing company built on innovation, hard work, and family values. The business began nearly 40 years ago when AJ, a weed-spraying contractor, developed a ground-breaking idea – a powered hose reel that could rewind at the touch of a button, strong enough to pull the operator uphill. Working alongside his brother-in-law, Grant, they patented the design and began hand-building the first models in a backyard shed, showcasing their invention at local field days and to councils across the country.
What started as a backyard project soon grew into a thriving Australian manufacturing business. Quik Spray opened its first factory in Warana and later expanded to three sites across the Sunshine Coast region, along with a fire truck manufacturing operation in Crows Nest and a Victorian office to support national growth.
